Wonderful, friendly, old school pub. Established in 1911 this pub is a must visit. The food was absolutely delicious. Great for families

This is a very nice old pub with friendly staff and good atmosphere but the food part was disappointing I took mum there today and she had the barimundi fillet and loved it only the chips were way undercooked pail. I had the seafood platter for one person and being a fully qualified chef for 38 years in Australia and internationally I was shocked by the standard of food and maybe one of the worst and most dangerous seafood practices I have come across,as of old oysters clearly not good, mussels the same, fake scallops place in sea shells and grilled with margarine! Freezer burn prawns,well at least I got my money back,I wonder if the chefs/cooks know if they make someone sick they a totally legally liable. Not worth the drive.still hungry.

I avoid going there only to get takeaway alcohol only alcohol prices with in reason food was rubbish got sick when had snack at function. It's looks like a pretty little place now but doesn't fit in with the environment with a country pub feeling no pool tables or games area for kids no locals anymore.

Went here for lunch just before Christmas for a birthday lunch. Steak (Med-Rare) was cooked perfectly. The Seafood platter was enormous, tasty and Fresh. Great service and friendly staff. The cocktails could use a little work but overall loved our adventure here.
