This pub offers everything a pub should. It's tucked away in a back street. It's small and cosy, with a wholesome indoor section, outdoor seating on the footpath, an open terrace and a covered terrace. They serve great beers and Guinness on tap, and a tasty Sunday roast. It's definitely the best pub in the area.

A great little older style pub! Lots of character and very clean. Great menu with generous servings. Excellent staff and service. Thursday is a popular Trivia Night and 2 for 1 Margaritas. Good vibes. It was a rainy evening when we went but I imagine it would be lovely on the patio for a sunny Sunday lunch. Will definitely return.

A lovely bar / restaurant thats been here for decades and nicely done up. Good indoor and outdoor areas, good selection of drinks and beers, nice food. Service is also super friendly here. Havent been here in over a decade and really enjoyed our afternoon with friends. The Cumberland sausage and mash was fabulous and the gravy was on point. Happily come here again.

As a (semi) alcoholic, I love this pub. The wait staff are unjudgmental. The exteriors and interiors are second-to-none in what you want in a pub. Wholesome atmosphere. Nice people. Fantastic food. Great, quiet location, with great music and fellow patrons that exert an aura of happiness. 5.5/5 rating if I could.. My only suggestion: rebuild that balcony that was destroyed those many years ago! If I had the money to spare, I would literally help fund it!

Need to update kitchen hours, got there at 8:30, website clearly stated kitchen open until 9. It was closed at 8
