Great food in a great casual atmosphere. Everything is delicious, you won't be disappointed. Come for lunch, stay for the raffles. Parking can be difficult at peak times. Wheelchair access is fairly ample.

I had dinner here with my son and his partner. The venue was very clean and well staffed. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We started with a hot and buttery garlic bread. My son and I had different chicken schnitzels, which were both terrific. I had mashed potato and steamed vegetables with creamy mushroom sauce - complimentary with the meal. My son had a topper with salad and chips. His partner had a prawn and chorizo linguine, which she loved. The chicken schnitzels were golden and crunchy but moist inside and the veges were just right and a generous serve. The salad and chips were also very good, and the linguine was perfectly cooked with tender juicy prawns and spicy chorizo. All meals were reasonably priced and hot on arrival. The staff were efficient, friendly but not obtrusive. There is off street parking at the door.

Brilliant venue. Was close to where I was staying and I was craving a pub feed for dinner. Gets busy with the raffles and weekly activities as well as the daily meal specials (and rightfully so). Good selection of beers on-tap too. Cant beat a $15 schnitty and a schooner of Balter XPA!

Woo what a feed. Family dinner in Bistro. Missus prawn linguine. Youngsters had the kids cheeseburgers Miss chips and Boi salad. Outstanding fresh juicy large burgers!! Nachos wicked wings and sweet potato fries. Nachos amazing ample assault on the tooth!! Great choice of topping, fresh and tasty to the last bight..we all enjoyed the food. Great servings !! Drinks and ice cream for kids. Tasty cocktails $10 and crisp mixed drink just made for a great Bistro dinner. Staff were wonderful. Friendly on the tables and really made the night flow. Recently visited. My dear friend and I both ordered the chilli garlic prawns and squid. Absolutely divine, mouthwateringly delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Loved it!!!

The Rutherford is one of my go to locals. The food is good pub fare, the team there are friendly. It is the Wednesday night Trivia that has me coming back week after week. The host Ben is hilarious and fun.
