Not only does the Annandale Hotel produce the most exceptional Roast Dinner in Sydney, their staff are all so friendly and fun. We have been a number of times and each visit gets better and better. Great selection of beers, good quality wines and a wonderful quality of food. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best pub experiences in Sydney. Food is UNREAL, so well priced, interior and beer garden is a great mix of refurbished and rustic, and the staff are brilliant - so much fun and a joy to chat to, even when its just a quiet Monday night. All my love to this little Hotel.

I stayed at the Annandale Hotel for about a month and half, and am so grateful to have had it as my home base. The accommodations are wonderful - simple, modern and clean, with shared kitchen and laundry. The beds are crazy comfy, and despite being on busy Parramatta Rd, the rooms were very quiet. Amy is a delight; good for a chat or anything you need during your stay, and always quick to respond. The pub downstairs is a hidden gem and probably the best kept foodie secret in Sydney. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and dead-set on making the pub feel like your quintessential neighborhood watering hole. Moreso than any other pub I ventured into, these folks showed a genuine interest and a desire for conversation, which in turn created the friendliest atmosphere possible and a sense of community across all the patrons. I have made friends for life there. Meanwhile, the food is next level. The chefs have trained in Michelin star restaurants and are clearly just passionate about their work. Every meal I had was delicious and gourmet; not what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub, but priced just right. The lamb melts in your mouth, the fish n chips is battered to crisp perfection, the iconic chicken schnitzel is the best you'll ever have, and the specials are always phenomenal. Their Sunday Roast can feed a family and move you to tears. I pretty much ate my way through Sydney during my visit, but so often I gravitated back to the Annandale for dinner, because I knew I wouldn't find better. Every aspect of my stay was beyond what I could have hoped for. I will definitely be returning!

Have been here twice with a few families and kids and both times the food has been great as well as very attentive and friendly service. The bar man with the hat even made me a toblerone cocktail that wasnt on menu. Food is varied and very good. I loved the chicken schnitzel (and I normally dont like them) ! Atmosphere is very family friendly. Would definitely return again.

Been a few years since Ive visited this hotel. We went today with friends for lunch. Wow!! What an amazing improvement. The renovations have really improved the ambience. We had the Sunday Roast. Sorry I didnt take a picture. The presentation was excellent and the food was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. And of course, doggos are very welcome. Highly recommended
