Ibis Styles Canberra Eaglehawk reviews
3 Star Review by Jessica De Beaux
the rooms were decent, I got one with 3 bunk beds and the bathroom was great. Dinner and lunch was good, but the breakfast was not so much. I also had a sudden power outage in my room, and my room only which was pretty unexpected. The environment around the hotel was nice and filled with nature. I enjoyed roaming around the area and admiring the scenery.

Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Modern Bathroom and great hot water. We liked the pizza Cafe and very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly but only found out about extra charge for dogs ($60) at front desk. Didn't mind paying but wish it was clearer on website. Don't like unexpected extra charges. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable, a fabulous breakfast - and all at a great price! We stayed for 2 nights in a King Room, with bunk beds for the kids, and it was perfect. The kids eat free for breakfast and, if you are annual Accor members, you can get the 2 for 1 deal on the adult breakfast. Highly recommend as a great value budget hotel.

A real delight to stay here. Facilities look amazing for families, school groups or business conferences. Impressive buffet breakfast. Was surprised that we could self serve given Covid restrictions. But everything was so clean and food refilled. Hot dishes delicious.

Had a terrible experience at this place. We were travelling from Melbourne and let the staffs know in advance that we will be checking in late around 2am. The staffs assured us that it wont be a problem as they will leave our room key in a locker and will guide us what needs to be done. When we finally reached the hotel, after a 7 hour long drive, we found out that the staff had forgotten to put the keys in the locker. We tried to contacting the number they had a provided, and the lady who answered the phone said the security will be there soon with the master key. However, when the security arrived around 3 am, they had no idea where the master key was or where the rooms were located and he said he couldnt help us. We called the helpline again and the lady said that she will try to contact the manager but she wasnt sure if she could help us as she was just a phone operator. We had given all hopes and decided that we will sleep in the car until someone arrived in the morning to help us. Luckily one of the staff arrived with the keys. We were finally able to enter our rooms at 4am, but the cleaning of the room was not good. We found mice droppings on one of the beds and in the towels. The customer service was pathetic, as no one took accountability for what happened during the night. I would rate this place in negatives if I could!!!

This was great value for our family of 6. We could stay in one room with three bunks, and it included breakfast. The rooms were clean, nice hot showers, its a lovely setting with bush surrounding, quiet, but still close enough to the highway and to Canberra. We ate dinner at the pie face next door, which is just walking distance. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy, but it had enough variety, and it was hot.

Stay here two nights. I like there breakfast. That was a buffet. They have facilities like swimming pool and gym. The rooms are old but they renovated the bathroom. This place is located at NSW and Canberra border.
