The hotel is in a fantastic location. Staff were super friendly with very attentive doormen. The Jamison Club evening drinks and canapes were also very good. Some small areas of improvement would be there is a fine line between scolding hot and cold in the shower, so pick your poison. Also, our bags were delivered to the incorrect room which was concerning. But all in all, very nice and would stay again.

5 stars for location. Loved that the tram was on the same block, made our travels around city very easy. Having full-size bath was also a bonus & great views of city. Some furnishings etc a little tired & buffet a little limited for vegans but all in all happy with our stay, value for money & location.

Our stay exceeded expectations. The position of the hotel was great, the room was exactly what I was hoping for and more. It was clean and stylish and the staff were lovely. We were able to check in a bit early and were told check out would be extended by 2 hours which made our even better. Would certainly stay there again!

The reviews on this hotel were very mixed and I was extremely nervous upon checking in that our stay would be horrible. I am very pleased to leave this review as checking in only took a matter of minutes (although we arrived at 7pm), and the customer service/reception staff were absolutely delightful. Our room was immaculate, tidy and huge. We did an underground bar crawl so the location was so close to where all the amazing bars are! I honestly can't fault our stay and wanted to leave a nice review amongst all the horrible ones.

My partner and I recently celebrated an Anniversary here and we absolutely LOVED this hotel and its amenities. The reviews were mixed but we took a chance and honestly the staff were polite and amazing, allowed us early check in as we arrived from Melbourne that morning and took an easy train ride from the airport to the station just below the hotel, they provided us umbrellas as it was horrible weather all week. The buffet breakfast was delicious so good we didnt want to leave lol, the beds were a tad soft but other then that their daily room service attendees did a great job refreshing our room and the hotel even gave my partner and I complimentary wine to celebrate which was fantastic ! The pool spa and steam room/sauna also a great environment to relax and unwind , the view from the King corner room absolutely stunning ! Thank you Amora we will certainly be back

We had a function here so stayed a few nights and found it pleasant, comfortable and homely. We had the spa to ourselves which is always nice.

The only thing I would give 5star for is location. Room Is very dated and just has patches of wallpaper most of which have the corners pealing. Blinds are all dirty and patches of stains on them. For the price you pay for the hotel room you do not even get free bottled water like you do in most hotels. Pool has very strong smell of chlorine that you can smell as soon as you get out the elevator. Patches of rust on ceiling of swimming area. Then $70 pp for breakfast thats expensive. We visited here back in 2009 and was blown away and come back with another family but this time very very disappointed.
