Tabulam Hotel reviews
1 Star Review by PEYMAN ABR
We booked two weeks in advance of our trip and were not notified that you actually need a 4WD for this campsite. At reception wevwere told that we could check the website as there was a notification two days before our trip. Are we expected to check your website every day? Normally, an email or text message is needed, particularly as we have already supplied you with our car information when we booked. We ended up not accessing showers and having lots of trouble with car access and some car damage.

We booked 2 wks in advance and provided all the information about our cars. Apparently the campsite and main facilities (e.g., showers) were only accessible by 4WD but there were no information indicating this in their website at the time of booking. We drove 3+ hours to get there and once we arrived we were told we cant access the main campground with our cars. We were told they updated their website with this info 2 days ago! We were asked to drive to an unpleasant overcrowded camping area with minimum facilities. The road was very rough causing damage to our AWD subaru. Luckily the other car wasnt damaged. We had no access to the showers, the view wasnt impressive and there were no walking tracks or activities to do (except our camp fire). We would have appreciated if they had notified (e.g., via texts message or email) us that our cars are not good enough for this campsite. We could then make an informed decision, plan and enjoy our Easter Holiday somewhere else if we knew this in advance.

We went there and spent 5 nights. Single women in 2 wheel drive vehicles. We felt safe and well looked after. The amenities were fantastic and super clean. Bob and Maree went out of their way to say hello but also made sure we had our space. We had a flat battery at the end and Bob gave us a hand with jumper leads, no hesitation, even though it was pouring rain. We cant recommend this place enough. Gorgeous surroundings, turtles swimming, and enough room for people from all walks of life. Hard core 4wd tracks for those who like it and peaceful bush for the ones who want to relax.

Fantastic location! Showers are hot, tracks are fun and campgrounds are flatish and clean! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We will absolutely be back again

Love this place. The hosts Frank and Lynne are such warm and friendly people. They make you feel welcome and ensure that you get the best out of your stay, whether you are using the four wheel drive tracks or just camping by the creeks. "Feel the serenity". Recommended

Heaps of space!! We had about 150 metres of nice grass all to ourselves at The Oaks area. The 4WD tracks were water affected and very challenging but was very fun. Dont even think about hitting the tracks at the moment if you dont have a lift kit.
