Court House Hotel TAMWORTH reviews

1 Star Review by Ezclaps A

I booked in advance, online and by phone. I requested a standard table to accommodate my elderly father. We arrived and were seated in the bar area in high seats. I approached staff and they were attentive to my request to be moved. It went downhill from there after engaging with management. We were then seated at a broken table, near the door (that was open) and it was freezing. Again, I approached the young male in management at the hotel and expressed my dissatisfaction relating to the seating that we were given. My feedback was met with arrogance and complete disregard. The young manager in question clearly has issues with women, in particular, forthright women. He was beyond rude. Hence, after an underwhelming interaction, we vacated the premises. We moved on to The Tamworth Hotel and they were able to accommodate us. At The Tamworth Hotel, we were given a suitable table and they delivered exceptional meals and service. To the management at The Courthouse Hotel. Understand this. Women are fed up with being disrespected and disregarded. It is our right to have a voice and express if we are dissatisfied with service, situations and otherwise. I left my contact details. I look forward to someone contacting me to discuss the circumstances mentioned.

Great pub, however the menu was very pricey. It is always busy, so I think it wouldnt be too hard to make adjustments. Also, the bald guy wearing a necklace was serving his mates before serving someone in front of him. Maybe some better staff and more on Saturdays

Just popped in for a beer and a snack. Nice, relaxed vibe and our little dog was allowed in the pleasant courtyard. The chips were super tasty and great value - the portion was huge!

5 Star Review by Suzie Lee

Popular pub with great food This a lovely pub that looks like it has been recently renovated. The menu is a cut above the standard Aussie pub menu, and the food was really good. Our steak was cooked perfectly and our pork medallion was tender and tasty! The service was friendly and fast! There was no public holiday surcharge on Good Friday! It was just a bit too noisy to enjoy a relaxed dinner though!

Garlic bread was amazing! My steak was perfectly cooked the meals are a perfect big size. And the workers couldnt have been any nicer. 0 complaints.

Enjoy the atmosphere here and with the bands that play there live its a good night out. I recommend to drink soft drink or water as their spirits and wines are expensive .

This place is absolutely beautiful. Great atmosphere and really cool. Looks like it has been recently renovated. Plenty of seating both inside and out. The variety of food was great. The prices are reasonable with wait time very small. Loved the choice of food and good dessert option. I.e. more than just ice cream
