I gave it 4 stars because I felt very comfortable during my lunch time visit. It was the only place open and I was a stranger just passing through, but that didn't stop the staff from being welcoming. There were a few other passer-by folk there that day, and that helped the pub feel comfortable...as well as the open fire and the air conditioner warming up the place. I ordered the lamb cutlets with vegetables. Huge meal. Loved it! I recommend stopping for lunch if your travelling via Tullamore.

Very welcoming, thanks to staff and locals I was able find better route to my next destination when I faced road closure that Map apps had failed at.

Not a good start putting 2 pizzas we paid $24 each for on the bar FROZEN. Waiting for 20min whilst the defrosted on the bar and then cooking them in-front of us. Could have got a better pizza at Aldi. Tasteless and not even worth $10. Would not recommend on a Sunday night.
