Loved my stay here, came for 1 night but ended up staying for 2. The rooms are a little dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. Somehow any flaws simply add to the experience of staying in White Cliffs! The important thing is that as a female travelling solo I felt perfectly safe. Meal at the pub was great. The staff, locals and travellers were all friendly making it an enjoyable and memorable trip. Don't miss the white house dugout tour and opal mine tour while in town.

Matt and Sarah are absolutely wonderful people. Very friendly and accommodating and the locals make the experience over the top! Excellent food with a porterhouse to die for. Continental breakfast. can't rate the experience high enough.

$140 and very basic 2 star donga style accommodation. No bedside tables (that would add some 'warmth'), no extra blankets, no hairdryer, no tissues, no shampoos. Cracked lino flooring that creeks and moves immensely when walked on. Yes, you are remote and not a lot of options, and yes they are aware of that! No microwave, no glasses, no cutlery or cups, so you have to eat at their pub, where meals average $35-$40 for a main and are very tasty. White Cliffs is an experience and all in all we loved it.

Stayed in the Dongha style accommodation. Was clean and relatively comfortable. Flooring is damaged, and squeaks with every step, and the two singles that were pushed together to for a queen were different heights. But... It was clean. The shower was spacious and has ac / heating. Cannot complain for somewhere remote. Went for dinner at the pub, and it was reasonably priced with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious. All in all, worth the stop.

We stopped for a bite to eat just after Christmas. Staff were fantastic. A wait was expected given it's the slow season out here and half the town are out having their own holidays. But we met some other friendly locals and got that country charm so many people speak of. Meals were also well proportioned and delicious for a pub feed!
