Didn't stay but had a gorgeous weekday steak lunch in the garden. The staff were welcoming of us and our dog. The service & food were excellent, in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Popped over the road to their butcher for steak to take home - even though we're not big meat eaters - this is clearly superb quality & from happy well-cared for cattle.

Travelling south and stumbled upon this fantastic pub. Staff were extremely friendly helping us with a table in the lovely back garden as we had our Retriever with us. The food is exceptional and suitably priced for the high quality. The charcuterie board was brilliant, the parfait being the highlight. For mains, the steak and lamb cooked just right. Wine menu has some fabulous Australian wines. Whilst, the beer selection has the standard stuff, I would have hoped there would have been some of the local craft beers. I think there was only one available. Highly recommend you stop and experience wonderful food and service.

The Willow Tree Inn is set in a lovely location, the establishment is well appointed and the food was brilliant. We went with a party of 8 and the only down side was the attentiveness of the wait staff. We got an array of different things with most going some variety of steak. My partner and I shared the beef ribs and a New York cut steak with mash and creamy mushroom sauce. The steak was over cooked although was still really tender. The beef ribs where out of this world, sooooo tender, really good glaze / sauce and the jacket potato and sour cream was lovely. Others had burgers and they were good also. Had to wait or go to the counter to prompt service that was rather annoying. Would return again in the future.

Had a beautiful meal here a few weeks ago. Food was fantastic - tender steak and amazing corned beef (I hadn't eaten corned beef for many years and this was outstanding). We had a lovely table by the fire and the staff and service were good. Would highly recommend.

Finally got to be a part of this after Covid lockdowns whilst traveling up to Tamworth. Called in without a booking, staff were very accommodating and seated us in a great location near the open fireplace. The Quality and freshness of the food was amazing. Eye fillets cooked to perfection Med -rare. Also the complainmentry bread & Soup was excellent. Staff very friendly & knowledgeable of menu and wines. Will be back

Absolutely Sensational. Great Steaks. Service was outstanding and Professional youd almost swear you were in a 5 City Restaurant. Not outback Country side The Accommodation is also wonderful. Great Beds. We stayed in the Cottage rooms 11. King Size Single Beds. Not over priced Accommodation. Will be back for a weekend Stay. The Pub is an absolute cracker. Very tastefully decorated. Great Beer. Someone actually takes pride in having Clean Glasses and Clean Beer Lines. Pity some of Sydneys better Hoteliers couldnt take a leaf out of there books. On the Restaurant, Obviously Steak takes pride of place The Steaks are fantastic and Cooked to perfection. The Wine list although not Huge is very Budget Friendly. With most Wines between $50-80 which is an absolute Bonus. Considering what your asked to pay in most places. I cannot find one thing to fault apart from Willow Tree is a long way from Sydney. But Ive worked out you can take the Train from Central to Willow Tree leaving at just after 9am arriving just after 2 pm. Short walk to the Hotel. Book in Few bevies in the Bar. Book in for Dinner. Sleep in the next morning have brekkie at the Hotel. Only on weekends mind you part of the Accommodation Package Train leaves at 11am back in Sydney by 5pm. What a great weekend.
