Wollombi Tavern Hotel reviews

5 Star Review by Irene Young

Its a neat little pub away from the hustle and bustle of cities and towns. Our friends decided to take us out there for some jungle juice and it was worth the drive and a mud slide up one of the routes. Neat little town with neat cottages packed with Aboriginal artworks and bric n brac. Almost gate crashed a wedding where the bride and guests wore boots Tavern was totally rustic and love the tables and seats set outside the tavern. This must be a must-stop for both bikers and cyclists Love the drive to the tavern, saw deers and wallabies in paddocks. Beautiful sceneries along the way.

Awesome country town pub food is awesome great priced meals beautiful setting & countryside love it

5 Star Review by Jewlz Ellem

Still the same super friendly service despite the upgraded inside tavern. Extended new deck with plenty of seating and great music on a Sunday Arvo. Log fire to warm you up after a cold moto ride. Woot!

One of my favourite places to visit. A cute little town... So peaceful and relaxing. Quite a popular spot on the weekends with lots of bikers popping in. Fantastic meals! I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection If you visit, you have to try the famous Dr Jurd's Jungle Juice! Camping available at the back of the tavern which gets really busy over holiday period. Public holidays there are awesome markets held just a short walk down the street from the tavern. If you're feeling like a bit of a drive after the tavern, I recommend going to Mangrove Creek Dam. Very pretty place!

Now it's not underwater I thought I'd check it out . Kept it pretty much the same and extended the deck which is good. Very popular stop for bikers on the weekend. Also has a nice area outside to have a drink etc . Only downer was the prices . $5 80 for a zero alcohol beer. Other pubs sell it for $4. Didn't check the menu prices so can't comment. Worth calling in.

Love it

Thanks for all the great reviews. Decided Ill stay away from this place after repeatedly reading about the bad customer service and the rude bartender. This is backed up by the Taverns responses to reviews taking absolutely no responsibility. Some people should really have a hard think about their career choices Keep it up
