Yeah this is a great country pub. Ice cold Carlton draught after a hot days cherry picking hit all the right spots. It has a beaut covered outdoor beer garden at the front covered in grape vines.

We popped into the Wombat Hotel for lunch Ordered the bbq ribs & Bangers & mash & a couple of drinks from the bar Order taken quickly we sat at our table, enjoying our drinks & 5 minutes later our meals came out steam rising from both plates. Been a while since i had ribs, so impressed when the meat fell off the bone. The Bangers mash, onion gravy & veg was also delish, portion sizes were good, I didn't manage to clear my plate Highly recommended if you're out that way ,(near Young NSW) pop in & give them a go, sure you won't be disappointed

Best pub in Wombat Coldest beer in Wombat Compulsory stop between Young & Coota to eliminate dehydration One of those pubs I'd buy myself if it ever comes up
