Historic inner city pub now secretly harbouring one of the better bistros in Sydney. Head up the creaky staircase to a red room with charming interiors and a relaxed atmosphere. The steak Diane and Brussel salad were both huge hits, particular shout out to the fries and perfect sauce that come with the steak () but truly we loved everything we had. Solid wine list that skews towards natural wine and the service was just the right blend of helpful & knowledgeable without being overbearing. Cant wait to be back.

I love the contrast of this bar: Downstairs is a buzzing, dark bar attracting locals and people buzzing to see a show at the theatre attached to the hotel. Up a flight of narrow wooden stairs is a beautiful French inspired bistro with amazing food. The oysters, spatchcock and steak were all incredible - too yum!
