We went on Tuesday for the oyster harvest series food and wine match evening, we were blown away! The new crew are doing something really special. Ceire and the team provided outstanding service. Chef Darrell and his colleagues in the kitchen delivered spectacular food. Was a really nice touch to have the chef come out and speak about the food and a passion working with local produce. Well done guys, great to see the venue finally live up to what it should be, will be back for sure

This pub is in a great location and the interior design is stun - unfortunately it lacks in every other aspect. The service is incredibly slow, it wasn't busy when I was there so I'd probably pack a bottle of water if you go when it's packed so you can stay hydrated while you wait. The food is average, their menu online is different to their current one, so being a vegan makes it difficult to know you have options. I let the staff know and they said they could make the yoghurt in my dish vegan (I did wonder how that was possible) - turned out making it vegan is by just not putting it on the dish. A slice of pumpkin on some shredded cabbage on a flavourless "taco" shell was not what I call upscale pub food (picture attached for your viewing pleasure) What made it worse is you're given a buzzer to know when your food is ready, then it's just a casual stroll to the back of the venue, up two flights of stairs and all the way back to your table - not exactly a customer focused approach. Not saying I won't go again, I'll just adjust my expectations accordingly.

A pub at heart with the inner-city chic and fine dining plastered on top. Tilbury serves an eclectic selection of food in its menu, ranging from pork baos and lobster rolls to grilled octopus as a small plate and then onto some fine wagyu beef for a main. It's all quite tasty but there's no one theme. There is a decent selection of wines and beers, including from the Grifter brewery in Marrickville. Cocktails are mainly gin and a more limited selection. Staff are friendly though often in a rush (though the venue was not particularly busy on our visit). Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Price wise you're looking at about $10 per single item for starters, mid-20s for your small plates and then around $40-45 for your large plates. Beer is around $11 and cocktails around 23. Facilities are clean and the venue is well lit and comfortable to move around. The dining and general drinks areas are divided by the bar itself. Final rating 4.1/5. While tasty some of the smaller items need price or size revisions. The deserts were also very limited in selection and while not bad, not worth their price.

Finished a beautiful lunch at China Doll with guests from WA and the 6 of us thought we'd head over to the Tilbury for a couple of drinks. We walked in and was wondering around trying to decide where we'd like to sit and this is when the lovely Theresa came up to us and offered to help us find a spot. She found us a nice sunny spot and scouted around for enough chairs. She came back later to see that we were all comfortable and enjoying the arvo drinks. Then John the barman made us the yummiest Bellinis (he had never heard of the drink) but managed to make the best we've ever had.

We came for some drinks since its a bright sunny day. The place has great Alfredo areas to enjoy and the bartender Miguel is so friendly and cheerful. Great service!

Excellent venue for end of year Christmas party. Communication was great in the lead up and service on the night was brilliant. Food and drinks were awesome too.
