I recently attended the new restaurant Sawyers and was absolutely blown away! Fantastic service, the young gentleman who took my order was friendly and made great recommendations. The food .. DELICIOUS! It was fresh, tasty and made from quality produce. It made me want to go back for more! Thanks for a great evening Sawyers, so glad we have a great restaurant back at the sporties!!!

I booked a room for an 80 bowlers Christmas Party Dec 2022. The venue was perfect, the Club decorated the tables beautifully and adjusted our 2 course meal servings to fit in with our programme. Our caterers have changed over the years and we now have Sawyers Catering which served up the best 2 course dinner we have ever had for our Christmas Parties. We had a great night. Max Walters

Times have changed with the new caterers, the menu is fresh and they have a new wine list which features some non alcoholic and new style of wine varieties. Noticed last night that the childrens' play area has also reopened, whilst smaller still being enjoyed by children.

The food offered here is on the expensive side and not very good. A meat based pizza is not offered. The salad experience was a very limp affair. The portion size of the fish and chips was meagre for the price paid. Overall a pretty dowdy club experience.

Terrible food. The burger was soggy and the meat patty taste like slush. Hardly any chips, and the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted.. Wow Not only are they clueless but they think people actually like their burgers. What world are they living in?
