Fantastic way to see a different way of life not yet affected by modern day commodities. The self guided tour takes you on a loop through the Grawin/Glengarry opal fields Recommended in a 4wd or high clearance vehicle. there is 3 'pubs in the scrub' to explore and enjoy a cold beer along the way. Be sure to check out Sweeneys across from 'The Hilton' and if you are into cars/trucks, check out the collection around Sheepyard Inn. Chris & Nicole IG: dtour4x4

An interesting opal mining location. Dirt roads only to this location so best visited during dry weather periods. Not a great deal to do if you are a tourist but the Grawin "Club In The Scrub" is definitely a must see. Good food and cold drinks. Photography of the landscape would be the main attraction for day visits.
