Being locals we gave the new restaurant a try for dinner. Our meals were OK - food needs some love. However, 5 stars for staff service.

The doorman ( who signs clients in) has great sense of humor, he welcome patrons in an interesting and warm way. The kitchen counter Asian man is lovely, when we ordered two dish both include chips, he offered to removed chips for one meal but increase the amount of dish instead. Very customer focused. The hallway displays a great quantity of historical items that are informative and educative

Good place to grab a pub style meal with friends. Casual location with plenty of bees on tap, my favourite here is Carlton Black. I like to sit in the louvred outdoor area, it has a very nice outlook and provides for a very inviting environment for you to enjoy a tasty meal. Friendly and welcoming staff including concierge, kitchen & bar staff. I have attached some pictures of some of the food choices available. The chef is happy to alter your meal and accomodate any special dietary or food allergy requirements.

Has gone down hill since Simon's closed. Got a chicken dish that was supposed to have king green prawns but was served small standard prawns. Also kids used to get a free scoop of ice cream with meals now $4.50 for 1 scoop of ice cream.

Had a Christening function at Maroubra Juniors. So happy with everything. The room was set up lovely for us to decorate the tables. Staff were fantastic and so helpful and polite. Highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting service today! The guy at the bar couldnt even make my drink right had no clue whatsoever! Forget the non existent service. He was measuring out my shot with ice. So then I had to go and pay for a second shot he put ice in the glass again! 4 people were standing there gossiping (including the manager!!) as I walked in. Atmosphere was weird. Then the staff were dragging around tables on the tiles making horrible screeching noises as we were trying to have a drink! I told them how rude it was to be doing that, the old ladies didnt say anything to me. But LOL they started gossiping about me to their colleague while my MOTHER was still sitting at the table. Oh but then the old lady staff member got told off by my mum. I hope head office reads this because this is how the staff are treating patrons on a Friday afternoon. Gossiping about them so other members hear and see it and not serving alcohol correctly! So, you have a problem, a big one. I work as a busy healthcare professional and just wanted to unwind The only explanation is that theres poor management which I witnessed today he was gossiping at the front door with the staff and he must not want patrons in the establishment as the team keep driving them away! Not renewing our membership- will go elsewhere. Support local Clubs in NSW, yeah, no thanks. You brought it on yourself.
