We celebrated a family birthday here on a Saturday night in a big group of 40ish people. Staff were really helpful by reserving a great area for us by the window. Views out to the beach are beautiful. Menu had lots of popular bistro classics so something to please everyone although would have liked a couple more vegetarian main meal options. Food was all really well prepared and presented, generous servings and tasted good. All the wait staff are happy and welcoming and seem to really enjoy working here, particularly Bree who was super attentive and accommodating. They were even kind enough to let me charge my Tesla for a couple of hours, slow charge but still nice of the club to accommodate. Would definitely come here again.

Food is very expensive and pretty much tasteless ( flavour less) Service is lack lustre ( staff looked bored)- at least the cashier ( when we ordered the food) made an effort by saying a perfunctory " enjoy your food" comment! 1 star is for the location which is right by the beach in Mollymook It would've been nice if you can sit by the window overlooking the view, but that is only 'reserved' for larger group tables there's a lot of restaurants serving awesome food in Mollymook( Milton area) which we discovered the next day so will not recommend going to this place to eat

Great views and great company always a winner! The $15.00 lunch special needs to be chosen wisely to get the better deal. Mine was excellent, others at the table not so much! Staff constantly cleaning away plates and cleaning tables. Always good to see.

Five course dinner downstairs at Mollymook golf club was superb! On arrival we were greeted with sparkling wine. The table settings were beautiful, diner and service was the best. Hopefully this will be a recurring occasion. Its lovely to be treated like we matter! Well done. We had a bad experience at the Guild recently that cost a lot of money, this was definitely value for money. Well done!

Whenever we head down this way, we always have a meal or two at the club. It has certainly changed over the years (our first visit would have been back in the late 1990s when the dining was mainly downstairs. COVID certainly changed the way the restaurant operated, however their food choices have pretty much remained the same. pricing is reasonable considering the location and views for a couple, whereas a young family of 4 or more may find it expensive. bar and wait staff have always been in my opinion efficient.

We booked a table at the Balter Bar. Menu finally in town with a bit of a difference. Great food and good service. Really busy, but handled well by the smiling staff. Sad that it's only for a short time. We will try again before they close it off at the end of January.
