Had Thai beef with Sate sauce wasnt the best I have had. The other girls had curried prawns or fish and chips they said very nice. Good place to take kiddies as plenty of room in dining area. Paper tablecloth so doesnt matter if messy. Meals came out quickly very hot.

The Star has a small public bar with no craft beer. They have a restaurant that serves Chinese and Thai food. Prices are not cheap, $18.50 vegies with oyster sauce. They had a band on Friday night. The room for the band is not big with a deck on the back looking towards the ocean. There is parking out the back.

Great pub. Really good Chinese food at reasonable prices and decent portions. Friendly staff and the local are friendly *** They do need to stop using plastic straws!***
