The clubhouse was cold, even though I was sitting in front of the fire. Could do with some curtains to retain the heat. It hasn't changed in 30 years, an injection of cash and ideas wouldn't go astray. It has so much potential, hopefully the latest board can do something. The meal was nice and well priced, though some kitchen equipment was turned off. All staff (kitchen and bar) were friendly.

Don't miss this place! Reception was most welcoming and I had great company in the Mens Comp. The course and greens where in top condition. Bar Staff very helpful and the Sandwiches were very fulling and not too expensive. Watch out for the out of bounds on the 13th. My ball ended in a tree!

Needs a sponsor soon. And someone who has the expertise to run a club house the course with its volunteers will keep the course in reasonable condition untill a proper greenkeeper can be found
