Port of Bourke Hotel reviews
5 Star Review by Mad Mick
Was recomended to come here for dinner and was surprised. On a Monday night and the staff being utterly swamped we expected less. The meals were all done to a high quality, dinner arrived earlier than we were told and all steaming hot. Staff was friendly, so were the other patrons (a mix of travellers and locals), everything was clean and neat and had atmosphere in spades. It has been made a permanent stopping point for our travels through this area. Worth visiting undoubtedly.

Just popped in for lunch. Meals were great. My steak sandwich was more like a delicious burger with bacon cheese and salad. Bar tender was friendly.
3 Star Review by Mataio Iaogat
Cold beer. Good chips. Smelly room. Room 15 wasn't worth a hundy for the night. We were right above the kitchen which made the room smell like meat and the depths of a deep fryer, was also next door to the laundry facilities which was populated by loud/nosey patrons or staff. There was also pipe reminents of an old sink in the corner which still had some sort of liquid sitting there waiting another hundred years to evaporate. Shared shower facilities took a waste of water to warm up but it's an old building, so all in all, ya get what ya get. Friendly enough owner and staff just doing their best. Location was good for walking round town without breaking too much of a sweat.

Attitude towards customers counts for a lot. Licensee was arrogant, indifferent and plain rude. Took our reasonable $ business elsewhere while we were in Bourke. 1 star as beer was cold

If you have little kids your going to love this place. Best playground I've seen at a pub ever. Food was delicious my chicken Parmy dinner was huge and it tasted delicious. Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite to eat and a.cold drink.
