Went for dinner and enjoyed the meal. Menu not overboard, just right right amount of options. Outside seating was great and the play area for kids which my granddaughter loved. Keen to go back for another meal and a drink.

Confusing and lengthy checkin. Basic room with comfortable bed and great sheets. Two of the three toilets had no toilet paper. False fire alarms went off twice during the night. So we werent impressed with cleaning (?) staff yelling out and waking us about 6. One tea cup provided in common room for all guests. Could probably do better.

Yummy food, staff are always helpful and will drop what theyre doing to serve you a nice cold crisp beer!! When the beer is that clean and crisp you can be forgiven for skipping lunch

Stopped on recent day trip after lunch plans had changed, so extremely happy we picked The Australian as a replacement lunch stop....was a Saturday lunch time reasonably busy but meals arrived extremely quick and drinks were ice cold and to top it off we eat out on the newly opened back deck area with a virtually fully enclosed kids play area for kidlets and multiple TV's showing multiple sports and racing channel....we had an Awesome time.
