The Rose Hotel reviews
5 Star Review by Gabriel
This pub is a little bit of everything that you could possibly need in a pub. First of all, the food is fantastic and honestly if you want some delicious options you can try literally anything and be totally satisfied. The staff are very lovely, and theres various different areas of this place you can sit in with friends and enjoy yourself. Some cosier than others like the upstairs area, as well as the downstairs area is more open and airy probably better in summer. Would highly recommend

Ten of us had dinner before we went across the road to the Seymour Theatre. The place was pumping, the beer garden was packed with people have fun. I had the Oven roasted salmon fillet, with asparagus, prosciutto, beetroot, yoghurt and lemon herb sauce, with a glass or two of the black diamond beer and it was delicious.

I went there first time for a Christmas party organized by ASM Australian Society for Microbiology. This hotel is located very close to city and has 2 floors where you can relax and catch up with your friends. The function was good as I met with my colleagues. We had pizzas , beers and wine.

It's an okay place. Loud and crowded for my liking, also not suitable for cold weather. The burger special was good, took awhile to be ready though. The beer was absolutely fantastic Would recommend for groups of 4 people or larger.

Love this pub. Great outdoor area (which can be covered in rainy weather) which is dog-friendly and has pool tables. Theyll even prep a dog-friendly meal if you ask which is awesome. Great staff and prompt service with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Can get busy for Friday lunch so best to get there early. Very popular during warmer months, especially with universities nearby. Good menu, good beer selection, and good vibes.

Enjoyed drinks and dinner here. Yum chicken burger!

The big reason I am unhappy with this is due to not following the happy hour. I was told the system wouldn't allow it even though I had preciously bought the same drinks earlier for the happy hour price. Staff had acknowledged it was but wasn't prepared to solve the issue. Place was OK and there was good helpings with the food in fairness. Not sure I would visit again though.

It's a good pub with standard pub food. I would still come again since its near my office.
