I just want to say what a great little pub this place is. Friendly staff, lovely decor, comfortable and relaxed. I'd forgotten to have lunch, so was ready for a good feed after 6 hours on the road... I went all out and got the Cowboy Special; Steak, Ribs, and Wings. I was surprised how much I managed to finish - the only leftovers were some of the wings, that were just as good cold, as they were hot. Every customer I overheard complimented the food, not just me. Prices comparative with Sydney, but so was the service and quality of the food. 5/5.

Last night I had the pork cutlet and my husband had the ribs. Both meals fabulous. Never tasted such a tender pork cutlet. The large plate of ribs could have been shared between us, but my husband devoured the lot. We will eat there again tonight. Waitress taking the orders was so sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend this Hotel.

Wow called in.on the way I had rump, cooked to perfection, partner had snitzel. While eating we saw the ribs, they looked fantastic. On our return to Melbourne we stopped again,. We had the ribs, eyes bigger than our belly. Had to get a container, they were as nice as they looked. If we are up this way again this will be our go to for lunch or dinner. We'll done, staff super friendly

Stopped in on a Thursday for lunch and the food was absolutely amazing, came out extremely quickly and couldn't fault it. Stopped for lunch on the following Monday and the food was the complete opposite, took almost 40 minutes to come out and when it did it was cold not warm cold. Niether times weren't busy at all. The bar staff are amazing, extremely welcoming, polite and accommodating.

Ive come back for my second dinner to eat the same thing: a classic steak sandwich with a perfectly rare scotch fillet, in crunchy Turkish bread, with rocket, tomatoes, beetroot, Swiss cheese, light fluffy aioli, and just the right size serve of chips on the side, freshly cooked. Yesterday was Tuesday special night: $15. Even at its normal price of $22, its a bargain. And something I really appreciated is that the music is at just the right level, so people can hear each other talking.

A very nice hotel, friendly staff, but ordered Chicken Schnitzel with mash and veggies, but the mash potato was very salty. I think they should let the customer add the salt if they want it as not everyone likes salt, even the gravy was very salty.
