5 Star Review by Travis Stroud
Awesome place to stop if you are caravanning and looking for a place to free camp. Phone reception is workable. Really quiet and only a minute off the highway. The meals are reasonably priced and generous. I recommend the garlic and cheese bread, that was really soft and delicious.
2 Star Review by Phil Jarman
The food here is pretty ordinary, my partner ordered the pork roast, the pork was chewy and the gravy was burnt. I ordered the garlic prawns, the flavour was nice but to get 6 prawns for a main meal costing $27 is very poor value. We wont go back. The service however was nice and friendly.

What a wonderful surprise!!! Not far off the highway. Enthusiastic locals greet you at the door. The food was great and the service was awesome. So very helpful with providing for our needy group. Thank you, we will be back again.

We often call in here for lunch when we are up this way. We always have crumbier lamb cutlets which are always big and juicy. Great friendly service as well. After lunch you can wander over to the toilet block and see sone of the history in the area plus part of the old bridge.

Lovely old hotel needs some TLC and it is only a step or two away from the river's edge and boat ramp. I haven't stayed in the rooms so I'm not able to comment. I only gave service three stars they advertised coffee, but the coffee machine was busted, I love my coffee.

We stayed in our motorhome at the back, unfortunately it was raining quite bad so it was very boggy but can imagine its a beautiful spot if it's sunny. Only negative for us would be the opening times for the restaurant are like 11-2 then 6-8....so we didn't end up having food which was a shame
