It's a real country pub, great people, food and a comfy and warming open fire Oh- and great cold beer

Inside Delegate hotel youll find a warm cosy bar with a fireplace. It makes a welcome place to have dinner while its cold outside. The Parma was a good size and well seasoned. The sesame dressing on the salad was a nice touch. If youve had a long day out on the road dinner here is a welcome sight. For accommodation the room I booked was clean and pleasant, one double bed with plenty of blankets (electric blanket as well but I didnt have a need for it on my visit in May), its not warm inside but once youre in bed that doesnt matter. The shower could use some renovating but the hot water is lovely, hot and plentiful. If youre coming from Orbost via Bendoc then Delegate is the main stop and Id have no problem stopping in again.

Rustic is an understatement for the sleeping quarters. But where else might you go for accommodation in Delegate. 5 stars for the Tbone steak and the Beers though!

If you want to experience true country pub hospitality then the Delegate Hotel is just place... With friendly service, cold tap beer & the best steak sandwich or lamb chops you can't beat a stay at Delegate Hotel.. Rooms are clean, comfortable & with everything you need... this is a true Australian pub where you can escape the rar race hence it is well worth a visit
