Beautiful old hotel on the Shaws Bay water front. Fantastic food and atmosphere! .Brilliant musicians on a Sunday open air . Caravan park next door for travelers .If your lucky enough to catch a top band like Bourbon Street or Lisa Hunt then you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, fast and great service accompanied by moderate pricing. Best buy: the steak. Ridiculously good and cooked medium rare to perfection. Surf and turf was great, prawns and broccolini were served with truffle aioli. Absolutely delicious. Will have to go back at some stage.

Casual inexpensive pub. Right on the water, great views and friendly staff. Our fisherman's basket was ample and the items are battered/crumbed in house. Friendly and helpful staff. Not a fancy pub, so don't expect that. But a lovely day, on the water, delicious food, good Sunday session band and good food at a decent price. Awesome location. Lovely staff. Tops place .

Literally so impressed with the food here, came for lunch and got the beef nachos and it was to die for, mum got a salad and the amount of effort that went into these meals were unreal. I liked it that much I'm going back tomorrow with dad. Highly recommend

Great little pub right beside a lake in Ballina. Staff are great. Nice vibe. Great place to spend time watching live music especially on Sunday afternoon

My partner and I came after going for a swim At the lake in-front of this hotel, it has a good pool table. There was a guy singing in the out doors part, the food was a big let down. We originally wanted the seafood for two, only to be told it all wasnt local food and all was frozen :-( Se we then ordered the prawn salad, and grilled Barramundi. We waited about 20 mins then our buzzer goes off only to be told They ran out of Barramundi the only fresh seafood they sold :-( so we canceled that one and got our money back, we waited another 20 mins, I sent my partner back to see what was happening with my Salad and he was going to order a burger. The guy said sorry we stopped Taking orders ages ago. It was like 8:10-8:15 at this point. The guy said your salads been here for a while. They forgot to buzz to tell us the salad was even ready! Wont go back again. When your a hotel with amazing ocean views and your serving frozen seafood Its poor a poor effort for the location its in!!
