The place is very pleasant, clean, lots of options available in terms of places to eat, sit or drink. The staff are uniformly very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Their food is slightly above average, perfectly fine pub food without being great. Not cheap - but then again not too expensive. We'll go back because it's a nice place to be and convenient

Great place to have a drink with friends while the kids play on quality equipment and a play room. Only negative is that service was really slow when I was there, we watched 3 people dry cutlery while one served. Food was good, fairly priced and floor staff were very friendly.

I was astounded at the quality of the staff and the food when I visited the forest hotel. The handsome young man behind the bar, Myles, showed me a great time, helping me explore my palette with a great knowledge of their range of beers. Myles went above and beyond with his service and I highly recommended heading there soon.

It's ok, we've been going there for a few years on and off. Nice venue. Menu is now a little stale and it's a little pricey. 2 cocktails, 1 lemon lime and bitters, 2 glasses of wine and 3 mains and a garlic bread cost $152. The food was cooked well, portions are a little small, so no problem with the quality. My suggestion is that a little variety in the menu would be nice. I honestly don't think the menu has changed much in over a year but happy to be proven wrong by management. It would be nice to see a daily or weekly special that's different every time, so it feels more like a real restaurant rather than seeing the same dishes.

Attended on a busy Saturday night. The service was quick and friendly, and the meals came out quickly despite staff saying there would be a delay. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, pizza was tasty and fresh. Lots of beers on tap, including local craft beer.

Just returned from dinner at your hotel, my meal arrived 40 minutes after my husband s and that was after 3 polite prompts from me to staff who continued to tell me "just another 2 minutes " my meal was less than average, soggy salad, greasy fish, my husband reported that his steak was only OK, just. We live down the road from your hotel and we seldom bother to attend, after tonight I know why. Years ago it was a great pub ,food, entertainment everything, locals were always there. NOT NOW

I came in on Wednesday with my family and couldnt be more happy with my experience at this venue. A young man named Sam was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable on the selection of food and beverages. Looking forward to coming back!!

Worst eating experience that I can remember. The waiter spilt a drink on my partner and saturated her back with ice cold soft drink. Had to argue to get the drink replaced free of charge. Manager apparently refused to come to our table. The food arrived very promptly apart from one steak that arrived after everyone had finished their meal. All food was overcooked including my "medium" steak
