5 Star Review by Matthew Black

Good country pub, cold beer, friendly service and a big menu packed with choice and all around quality and well priced meals. Membership is free to access member prices. Only downside to note would be the rolls for the roast pork and gravy are the wrong shape.

Lunch here today. Meal was disgusting. Burger bun was dry, stale, and was served with 2 bottoms pale and uninteresting. Meat patty was dry and tasteless. Half slice of beetroot small amount of tomato, lettuce, NO ONIONas promised. I did ask before ordering what was on the burger.!!! Did complain but no respons $15.00 not well spent. Wont be hurrying back.

This hotel is renown for its great quality food and size of meals, however my recent visits have been disappointing. Called in on Monday night only to be told bistro is only selling pizzas which were burnt & bloody terrible, Tooheys New now taken off tap forcing me to buy a stubby, I dont go to pubs to drink stubbies as I drink then at home. The service behind the bar was great however the 2 young girls in the bistro were unfriendly & abrupt. Consistency is key..

Saw an ad for $9 meals on Wednesday and Thursday night. Decided to go try it out. Amazing food and large portion sizes.. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth the drive to visit. Next time will be a Tuesday for stone cooked pizza.

Doggone it! Today I was paw-tunate enough to visit the labr-adorable Big Golden Dog at Glenreagh. No ifs or mutts, it was an un-fur-gettable experience and you'd be barking mad not to drop in. The hotel nextdoor to the humongous hound is a pup-ular spot, and I even had a beer or ca-nine!

We went there for the a la carte meal, and they said it was pizza tonight, so we had pizza, it wasn't the best, the base was overcooked, and not enough topping very minimal. We went again on the Friday night, and had a la carte, what a difference.
