Criterion Hotel reviews

4 Star Review by Marion Smith

Went there for Sunday night Pizza . The large size (medium) is quite big and enough for 2 to share. There was lots of topping and it was very yummy. The time too cook it was quite a while though. You can take your dogs onto the balcony at the back, but there is no water provided so you need to bring your own if you plan on being a while.

5 Star Review by Sarah Burns

Had drinks & dinner here & was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was. Not only was everything reasonably priced, but the service & misdemeanor of the staff was exceptionally good. 2 cutlets for $20 would normally be $30+ at home & was so well cooked. The Criterion is a must visit if you're in town for a feed.

3 Star Review by Geoff

As far as country hotels go this ticked all the boxes. What attracted us for dinner was the large open deck at the back, dont be trapped in the small dining room. Go out the back and enjoy the view. Good food options and well priced

5 Star Review by Priyankar Adhikari

Loved the paintings at the bar, you can enjoy a chilled drink at the deck overlooking the hills and Morleys creek in front of ya. Would be perfect time to spend on a hot summer day. Catch some live games at the sports bar, or spend time at the bistro. The room I had was pretty good for the price, Id definitely go back.

Very limited menu. Thought we would have simple fish and chips with salad. The highlight of what was presented was the very simple salad. The fish batter was soggy, the fish itself extremely fishy and the chips stone cold. Give this place a miss if youre passing through town. The RSL just around the corner seems to be where the locals go!
