Lovely dog friendly beer garden but the food let us down. The flat head and chips was so dry, it was impossible to save it with the teaspoon of coleslaw or the equally dry half a lemon wedge it was served with. The dessert was supposed to be an apple and rhubarb crumble- it was actually a soggy muffin drowned in melted ice cream. Its not even hot weather today! I was really excited for a lovely family dinner here after reading the reviews- my dog at least enjoyed the vibe.

I went for dinner in the lounge, and chose a eye fillet steak with chips and salad. It cost $33 and it was worth every cent. The steak was huge plus the veggies were abundant, not to mention the service was friendly, approachable and friendly. This country pub meal was excellent.

Been there twice in a 1 week time frame - between 2 of us we had four different meals. They were all very delicious. Would definitely recommend eating there. Friendly staff

Came here for a late meal on the way through to Sydney. Simple pub food. Very friendly staff. Family friendly atmosphere. No fuss, fast and easy dinner before bed!

Another visit while traveling Sydney Melbourne. Lunch is magnificent. Great country food and nice setting in the back courtyard.

Waited over an hour for our meals with no communication. When we finally got them one was wrong and both were awful. Tough, chewy meat and no flavour. The inside of the pub smelled like mould. We feel very ripped off that experience cost the 2 of us $80.

Enjoyed the Gundagai Lions Club Christmas party there. Had traditional Christmas dinner and it was beautiful, topped off with Christmas pud, custard and icecream. I especially enjoyed the extra scoop of icecream and the extra piece of Christmas put (courtesy of my adjoining eat partners)
