The Gearin Cafe is unique with its interesting collection of collectables. Menu is very limited but the owner David makes up for it with his presence.

Beautiful old pub, yes it's a bit knocked around but that's part of the charm & the staff are great as are the locals. Rooms are comfortable but be aware they have bands so if it's a night a band is on expect a bit of noise for a few hours so look it up or ask if you're after an early night. Good honest pub food with cheap pies & jaffles over the bar if you're after a quick cheap feed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Ensuite was tiny but functional, only cold water out of the tap, but didn't try the shower! The place felt quite old but well maintained. Decent selection of beers on tap. Location was good, very close to the train station.
