Very good food. Staff members are really friendly and funny. We stayed there for 2 night as well in the hotel. Bed was very comfortable, water pressure was amazing. Very spacious room as well. And not too mention what a wonderful view of the entirety of Sydney and the surrounding area, that we have from the pub and also our room. Love it and would definitely come back again!

We often travel out to the Archibald for special family lunches. The food is always great and we love that we can take our dog. Two Sundays ago we took our visiting relatives and were not just disappointed but revolted by how bad the food was. Worst on the list was the marinara which at best can be described as something out of a tin with rubbery chunks of octopus thrown in. My daughter ordered the chicken wings which have been brilliant in the past but this time undercooked with what seemed liked some sort of thin sauce off the supermarket shelf. The duck breast was a lonely dried up morsel on a plate with some sorrowful vegetable and the burger, whilst palatable, was certainly not what we had experienced in the past. Sadly, we will never be going back. At $124 for a meal we couldn't stomach finishing. No thanks. We felt embarrassed we had subjected our guests to this meal when it was supposed to be a special event. The one star is for the staff who were courteous and attentive. I felt sorry for them having to trot out the rubbish we were served.

Had Sunday lunch. Great selection of beers. Good pub food, nothing fancy by cooked well and decent menu. Friendly staff and a great views. Will definitely return.

Booked 1 night in a room to stay after a wedding. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Fan in the bathroom didn't work and the room is slightly dated but not bad considering the price. Thank you

Enjoyable lunch on the road. Plenty of food options although some meals had run out.. Plus in that they have alcoholic ginger beer (James Squire + Brookvale Union)
