Nice pub with friendly staff in an ideal location close to Leichhardt oval. However, it was extremely disappointing to see the exclusive use of plastic cups to serve the huge crowd of people there last night. I cannot imagine the amount of plastic waste that would have been generated by this night alone, and while I understand the extra cost and effort involved with recycling glasses throughout a busy night, surely this would be logistically manageable with the right planning and staff in place. Also the staff picking up the cups were putting them in trashbags alongside other rubbish, suggesting they were not recycled. Get with the times, single use plastics is not the answer.
