Palisade Hotel reviews

5 Star Review by Denise McChang

Loved our stay here. The pub food downstairs is fantastic, views of Sydney Harbour up from the cocktail lounge are just stunning! The pub staff are really friendly and helpful and manage the hotel bookings as well. Rooms were comfy and had character. Location to Pier 9 for cafes and wandering and exploring is great! We'll be back with a group of friends to book 4 of the 8 rooms.

5 Star Review by Jason Perce

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was very nicely decorated, spacious with everything you need. There's a bar downstairs and a more formal rooftop bar with great views over the city where you can see the observatory, Darling Harbour and the Harbour Bridge.

3 Star Review by Geoff Cresswell

Yes the view is great, service friendly but patchy a little pricey & shut the kitchen before our significant birthday desert arrived , very disappointing & the security staff aggressive & heavy handed! Will not recommend or return- feels like its got a little shabby also acoustics are terrible

We went to the roof top bar to celebrate a birthday, it has amazing views, and is very stylish. However the food is a big let down. Very limited menu and tiny portions and massively inflated prices. I would go again for a cocktail but definitely not for the food.

Excellent venue! Had a works party here and it couldn't be faulted. Very helpful and courteous staff, excellent food and the 360 degree views of Sydney which included the Harbour Bridge and Darling Harbour were awesome.

Room much smaller than expected. Not exactly the spacious place most of the photos portray. (Other rooms obviously larger). Should have been clearer exactly what we were getting. That said, nice enough for an old building and balcony really helps offset the claustifobia! Location very good, which was my main consideration when booking.
