Nice pub with a large menu and a good vibe. We sat in a room with a big fireplace which was a nice touch on a cool evening. There arent heaps of gluten free options but enough to get you by. We all enjoyed our meals though some portions were a bit off (like heaps of sauce compared to the amount of protein) but overall was a good meal. It is a bit chaotic trying to order if its busy because the area isnt very big, theyd definitely benefit from multiple ordering points or an online system.

Beautiful atmosphere. Very big venue with multiple spaces/rooms. There is a big menu, and everything on the menu reads like it's delicious. However the service is slow and all of our proteins were a bit dry (maybe because they were so busy). Aside from that it is a lovely venue and has menu potential.

So Im all the way from Sydney, I actually didnt stay at this hotel but me and my family ate here! Such good service & the food was delicious! Waitresses were so welcoming & good to chat with. Definitely coming back here again. Definite 5 stars for me!

We came here for dinner for a hens party. We were a large group but all the staff were friendly, accomidating and polite. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks menu was wonderful. We had such a great time, thank you so much for your hospitality!

Best food ever, Smoked scotch fillet was best meal ever i had. Fantastic food. Came with wife and son. We all left full and satisfied. Great menu for adults and kids.

We had lunch at Oriental Hotel during our recent stay in Mudgee. Location, appearance, amenities, environment, services are excellent. But we were looking for good quality grilled meats and ordered Scotch Fillet and Mixed Grill with sauces on-the-side. Unfortunately, ALL meats were overcooked, had no seasoning at all and tasteless on-the-side sauces could not save the situation. May be we choose wrong dishes :-(
