Good range of drinks, spacious, decent amount of pokies available (not that it matters to me). The food here is alright, nothing special. The staff everywhere are friendly. Overall a mediocre pub with topnotch staff. I'm not sure about the actual 'hotel' rooms and what they're like as I'm a local so I cannot rate on that.

The food here is very hit or miss. They also seem to try and overchage you at the bistro most times when ordering, so just keep an eye out for that. The interior style of the pub is actually very beautiful and the bar staff are super friendly. Is a great pub for a drink or two but not the greatest food wise!

The hotel has been renewed. Rooms are really good and new. The train station is really closed and many restaurants and shops around. The building hosts a sports bar which was not noisy and didn't bother us to sleep.

Recent reno's look great, from the outside! Unfortunately noone planned for accessible entry...every single door has steps / stairs. So we can't even get inside to check it out. Extremely poor design to not build any ramps from the brand new carpark into the brand new beer garden. Very disappointing.

Let us know that they couldn't accommodate our room booking with them on the day we were supposed to arrive. On top of that, they were completely dismissive and unapologetic over the phone. This left us with a stressful scramble to find another place to stay on Christmas day. I would recommend avoiding dealing with this hotel.

Room was very clean and had a huge bathroom. Food in pub below is lovely and the hotel is close to the train station for a short train journey into Sydney. The owner was kind enough to allow us to leave our car there whilst we went into town which was much appreciated
