This place is great for a meal and beverages with a picturesque view, the meals are quite large and happy to recommend, you can probably get away with sharing a meal if you're not extra hungry. Been here a couple of times now and I've been happy with the service. Seafood linguine and a calamari salad!

Being a good pet owner, I checked in with the waiter if we could sit on the deck out front or had to continue to sit on the table on the grass out front for dinner (happy either way). The waiter replied that dogs were not welcome at any time and owners will be refused service. He stated the if the manager saw a dog she would freak out. Get with the times Ocean Beach Hotel! the majority of dog owners enjoy taking their pets out for a meal with their family especially when our pets are well behaved. Dog owners, take your business elsewhere and support business that are pet friendly!

Excellent value, massive portion of calamari in the Squid salad! LIVE music on a Sunday and rooftop sea breezes. The definition of destination casual dining without breaking the bank if you are wanting to take in some of Shellharbour's cool caracter...

Very bad customer service, we got our order and it wasn't what we expected and they don't care about it. Just give us a refund and that's it. You guys better update your photos of the food.

Pub in Shellharbour Village with a great view of the sea and surrounding parklands. Huge outdoor seating area. Menu was your normal pub fare, however they do do seafood platters. Ordered the fish & chips, salt & pepper calamari and cheesy garlic bread. The food was tasty and portions were OK - fish & chips could have used more chips. Prices were OK (your paying for the view). Staff were generally friendly.

Staff don't care about hygiene, front deck is filthy with food scraps everywhere. Table was cleaned of cups but left a bottle, when I asked to take the bottle she replied, "I'm trying to do 4 things at once" while speaking to her friend on the phone. The manager looked to be 12 or 14, came to our table after another incident (I asked to have the bird poo cleaned), offered no assistance and left in his fashionable factory ripped jeans without offering any resolution. Such a great location, propper bad service and attitude. Usually don't leave reviews but childish management/attitude. Few locals (after we changed location) shared the same opinion. Too much calamari, I did let know we were ordering the platters, not enough of other seafood. Some of the staff were a bit too talkative about the customers. At least wait until we're gone.

Staff were good, the food is good, the view off the deck is good, but the seagulls aren't. We had fish'n chips, veg pizza, fish basket, southern fried chicken burger and chicken wings. Fish was battered only, not grilled option and you can't buy jugs of soft drink either. The fish basket for $32 only gives you 2 prawns, 2 oysters and several salt and pepper squid, wasn't really worth the money. The seagulls try to steal your food and as soon as someone leaves a table with leftovers on it, they fly in and go on a rampage, breaking glasses and trashing stuff. Funny to see at first but then they get annoying after the third table and the constant noise. Besides that the rest of the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Especially the southern fried chicken, wings and pizza.
