Substantially impressed with the steak and chips. Rump steak could go with a better sear but was well seasoned and hit the spot. Would come back again for a quick bite. Steak was $32 and cider was $8. Prices could be cheaper. Venue was well lit and had very nice ambiance. Theres a nice fire pit you can sit to warm your hands. Toilets were very clean

This is a must visit place in innerwest suburbs. This place used be a dead place, but the new management totally have changed to incredible local pub with very friendly staffs. Also the food was great at very reasonable price. The only problem is rack of parking space due to high popularity. Do not miss the flat bread with cheese and rosemary.

You expect pub chefs to overseason a little. Generally speaking most smokers can't accurately taste food. We wanted to have a nice quiet family lunch but were disappointed with what we were served. VERY salty food. The patty in the signature burger was very salty. The pulled chicken in the nachos was salty on top of the fact the dish was served with a tablespoon of taco seasoning. I use taco seasoning with beef and beans and chopped tomatoes, I don't eat it out of a packet. When I approached the kitchen to inform them the staff were dismissive. I asked them to try it as it was inedible. They said they knew what it was and that's how it tastes. The side slaw was more mayonnaise than slaw and the kid's fish and chips was not seasoned at all. Having paid north of $70 for the meal we were left with a salty taste in our mouths and will not be returning.

We have just celebrated our baby shower at Crossways Hotel and we couldn't have picked a better venue! Location was central to everyone and the newly renovated interior as well as the al fresco areas are gorgeous. We chose the Bistro area since it is attached to the kid's playground which makes it easier for guests bringing their kids. We ordered through their function menu and all our guests were so happy with the taste and quality of the food! The chefs made sure to time the serving of food so theyre freshly cooked and hot coming out of the kitchen. Last and best of all is the amazing service of all the staff, especially their manager April, who went out of their way to make sure we are all comfortable and everything was well taken care of. Kudos to the whole team!!!

In a word, this place is average. They have a good cocktail menu, but the drinks are not made well. Customer service is not their strong suit, and a lot of the food is hit and miss. The chicken schnitzel is very dry which is a bummer because isn't that what everyone goes to a hotel/pub for?
