Decent place and plenty of space for larger groups. The food taste fine, but would appreciate a slightly larger chicken for the price. At least it's freshly cooked, the buns are soft and the chicken is crispy. Chips are crispy as well.

Really enjoyed the cocktails. The lamb skewers and eggplant salad were delicious. We ordered fish and chips from the feast section of the menu and the serving size wouldn't even feed a child. Wouldn't recommend ordering this dish. When we spoke to the staff they were very pleasant and gave us some additional chips.

Pretty classy atmosphere for a pub in the heart of Surry Hills. I had the cheeseburger and it was so good - Id say probably top 3 burgers Ive ever had. The sauce was so delicious and meat was well seasoned and had a good thickness. The patty was also quite light and fresh.

House of Palms hosted a flower crown making workshop at the Forrester's for a hen's party of 16 people and the venue was perfect. The room reserved for the function was separate but still has a great atmosphere. The decor was *chefs kiss* and the staff were accommodating and lovely. Would highly recommend if you are in search of a function space for a smallish crowd.

Excellent pub food at the heart of Surry Hills! Been there for lunch twice so far - had their Spicy Chicken Burger and Tuesday Chook (special) - both times super impressed by the chicken at the perfect level of juiciness and the freshest of chips! Looking forward to dining there again!

Love this place - my favourite local pub. Great vegan options including the falafel burger and 2 x salads but would love to see even more vegan options. Would love some more alcohol free drink options too.

Second time that I've been for a Bottomless Brunch and I think this was better than the first. Food has improved and portions were really generous. Plus of course, the Rose was fab. I'll be back.
