Keg and Brew Hotel reviews
4 Star Review by Bartholomew Tan
Pretty decent selection - at least 15-20 taps from what I remembered. Though plenty of options, taps here could definitely be better. No signs of Mountain Culture, Range, Bracket, plus many more great craft breweries Australia has to offer. Had the Philter Juicy ($35 for a jug). Great selection of food as well compared to your typical local. Convenient location.
4 Star Review by Luke Murphy
Stopped by for a few beers on the rooftop on a quiet public holiday afternoon. The location is great, close to Central Station. The atmosphere on the rooftop is good too. The food looked fantastic but we didnt have any. The beer and wine selection is OK but not really craft beer. There were only a few brews that came from true craft brewers. The venue has multiple levels and the decor is really attractive. It would be great for a corporate function.

If you like your lunch to be warm & cosy shared with a few stuffed animals then pick the ground floor. If you like a more open, modern space then the rooftop is the answer. The food was upmarket pub fare without the high prices.

The rooftop bar is a great spot to enjoy the fresh air and fresh brews and it's convenient if you've ordered from the Pizza Bar as it's on the same floor as the rooftop. Easy spot to get to in Surry Hills, only a couple of minutes walk from Central Station.

When I'm in Surry Hills for work, the local is Keg & Brew. Proper pub food: unpretentious, generous, delicious. Good value to boot. The photo is of their Monday special, chicken schnitzel for $12.50. Plus $5 for a stack of fries and you're golden.

One of the best pubs in Sydney, super friendly staff and the beer selection is HUGE and ever-changing. We go here every Wednesday for the trivia (we've tried a few and this one is hands-down the best - Brody is an amazing quizmaster) and we enjoy it every time. The pub itself is beautiful, has a pleasant atmosphere and music levels are normal - it's one of those pubs where you can have a conversation, an oddity! The food never disappoints, and the rooftop bar is stunning, everything is a win in this place!

Don't be deceived by the dark ground floor bar. Grab the lift or take the stairs to level 3 rooftop bar. Light and airy. Pizzzas are great with a 2 for 1 deal. Good place to have your pre sport drinks before you wander up to the Sydney Cricket Ground or Football Stadium. Do it.
