The Wild Rover reviews
4 Star Review by Susan Sohn
A cute, hidden gem that has a great drinks menu and excellent food. We especially loved the scallop, fried oysters & sardines! Of course, the oyster selection is on point and worth giving them all a try. A perfect place for a midday stop or, after work drinks or a quick meet up before dinner out. A word of caution though...the wine pairing isn't worth it; they are strange wines paired together so don't waste your time or money on that, trust your own palette instead.

Cosy whisky bar. As a non whisky drinker finding a sweet cocktail to my liking was a bit tricky. However the staff were super friendly and accommodating and whipped up a cocktail off the menu for me which was delicious. Can be a little loud. Renovated and much more inviting than it used to be with the unassuming black door.

This is one of my favourite venues and I absolutely love the new renovation. Its the perfect date night spot. Good to catch up with friends too. Cool space with friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the raw scallops, lamb sausage rolls and the pickled kipfler potato salad. The Culture Clash cocktail was my fave. Wish you would bring back the Apple Crumble cocktail

Atmosphere is super cozy. The drinks were unique and had an awesome twist on some classics. The bar staff is very knowledgeable as well. Beyond cocktails, The Rover will be my local whiskey/whisky spot in the neighborhood when I have the itch!
