Had a good experience here! Came during lunch time on a weekday, and there was quite a long line (extended almost out of the door). The post office was located in Martin Place, and was in a cute little heritage looking building. The interior had an old school vibe but it was very clean and well organised. The line moved very quickly and the staff were friendly! Probably one of the best post offices Ive been to. Would definitely recommend.

One of most impressive heritage buildings in the city. The interior is occupied mostly by Fullerton hotel but retains some remnants from the past such as the charming old post boxes.

Big complicated post office with different lines for different things. Very busy all the time. Some self service terminals that sometimes work for parcels.

The best post office that I have been to so far. I had to get my new photo ID for the paperwork last year and thanks to the gentleman who got my ID photo taken nicely. He gave me a comb to brush my hair and asked me to check my appearance before the photo was taken. Small details like that shows how they care about customers. I was very happy with the photo he showed me. Even though they are always busy, they strive to provide everyone best customer service experience. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

This stunning building has been around since 1830 and contains varying cultural significance with several buildings within it. This is one spectacular example of Victorian Italian Renaissance style and according to heritage information of this building, it inspired by the Palazzo Communal of Medieval and Renaissance Italy. This building is also known as GPO Sydney, Postal Hall and Westin. Westin of course is being rebranded as The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. This heritage building had gone through so many modifications started from 1874 to the late 1980s. Currently it's hosting several usage from hotels to offices and hospitality (restaurants and cafs etc.). Magnificent and certainly one stupendous building worth preserving for the next generation to admire and appreciate.

I did not have the opportunity to go to the office but I had the opportunity to chat with one of the site managers by email. They were helpful and kept me informed of the status of my package. Unfortunately this one did not arrive before I left the country but I appreciate the service I received

Well-maintained post office with great service. Lucy and jocular friend (Juan? John?) were professional and knowledgeable. I completed a passport application and certification of identification here with no issues. Lucy was very accommodating and clearly explained all relevant procedures to me. Beware - some queues have specific purposes. E.g. passport applications have a queue on the right hand side. Don't waste your time dawdling in the plebeian all-purpose queue like I did.
