PJ O' Brien's Irish Pub reviews
4 Star Review by Jennifer C
Friendly staff. Good vibe - feels like Im back in a pub in Ireland especially with the live music. However, food is average. The fried chicken stack was crispy but burnt. The beef Sunday roast ($19) was a bit tough and dry and the Yorkshire pudding was a little deflated and oily. Irish sausages and pies are tasty but all the dishes are quite salty. However, portion sizes are generous. Usually quite easy to find a table to eat.
5 Star Review by Jessica Henderson (Percy)
Absolutely amazing pub! Husband had the guinness pie and said it was the best he'd ever had. I had the club sandwich and it was perfect. Wish we had an Irish pub like this in Brisbane.

If you like Irish food and drinks, walk right in. P.J.OBrien is a drop of Ireland in Sydney city. Theyve been around for a while and its a great place to experience Irish culture. I had the Irish symbol > Guinness pie (of course) and it was comforting and delish. I couldnt ignore the Irish chips > Tayto (great name) so had that too. The vibe and interior are also true to Irish spirit. For these reasons I give this place 3 bears

First time coming here. Was very impressed. A nice bustling atmosphere and really delicious food. The beers are served by the pint which is great for an authentic experience. Brought me back to memories of my time in the UK.

Best Irish Pub in Sydney! Been coming here for years! My recommendation would be the Guinness pie with of course a Guinness. They pour a great pint and the portion size of the pie is perfect! Comes with peas and mash. It would be great if that was a special. At the moment they do a Guinness pie and a different beer as a special.
