The Flynn reviews

We were here for the Twin Pecks show. Venue was a lot smaller than expected for the show and the performers certainly picked their favourites girls to spend time with As a slightly older crowd, we felt a little ignored by the men but did still have a great time on the dance floor. Not sure it was was value for money but the birthday girl had a great time.

Terrible service. My mum and I ordered two ravioli dishes at 12pm on a relatively quiet Tuesday. Around 12.45 we followed up with the vague waitress who whimpered an inaudible excuse. One dish of ravioli turned up 20 minutes later. We asked where the second dish was and a laughable excuse followed "most people only order one dish between two people." Not only had she forgotten to send the kitchen our initial order; she got the second order incorrect and no apology was given. Thankfully the wine eased the pain.

The Flynn is something of an old favourite for me and a group of ex colleagues. It is fine as far as it goes but nothing to write home about. Good selection of beers and the bar food is ok.

This has gotta be one of Sydneys best kept secrets for a meal and a solid contender for best pub grub in Sydney. The lamb cutlets are probably the tastiest Ive eaten EVER!! - (homemade croquettes, mint pea relish, chickpea mayo and crunchy sweet potato crisps.... sooooooo much yum!!) Hat quality cuisine for RSL prices! Home made dumplings, salmon bowl... also amazing!! Great atmosphere for wine or beer, and friendly staff who are always up for a laugh and will make you feel like youre on holidays in Venice! Cant rate highly enough. Perfection!!

Would give zero stars if I could Has tickets for the NY Party and showed up at 1 am for a few hours (Bollywood Thumakda party). The guard didn't let us go in as he said it has something to do with promoters. I had "bought" the tickets and there was no such condition on tickets themselves. As an ardent party goer with a huge crowd of friends, the venue will be getting a no-go response from me.
