Who said pubs were dead ?? The absolute best atmosphere I have enjoyed in such a very, very long time. Delicious meals, served by super friendly staff who actually cared about your experience. Superb surroundings, beautiful artwork, & an old fashioned publican who made sure every box was ticked. Warm & family friendly environment with open fires & rooms for every special occasion. Incredibly well set up, inside & out. If you haven't yet been, what the hell have you been doing.

What a great place to eat and relax. We were welcomed by the publican. As we had our little dog with us we ate in the back beer garden. The service was excellent but the food, wow, was magnificent. My wife had the lamb shanks which she said was the best she had eaten and the best was the veal fresh not frozen. I had bangers and mash and what a feed . Thank you all at the pub, we will be back.

Great food, our favourite is the Sunday Roast! Great music and atmosphere too. Love the decorations and the self-declared "stupendous beer garden". If you like old school pubs with great food, music and atmosphere, it is definitely worth a visit!

We arrived Friday evening and were welcomed by the owner. Had a wonderful beef burgundy meal which we loved so much we had to return 7 weeks later just to have this again. They did it specifically for us classic country hospitality if your passing through Tocumwal then its a must visit for a few drinks and a wonderful meal. They actually made us feel soooo welcome.

Where do I begin to find the words that effectively articulate the absolute beauty of this place? I have found another home, a sanctuary, comfort. The atmosphere is like no other, great conversations around every corner, artwork to admire, drinks to quench your thirst and great pub feeds. I cannot thank enough everyone that puts in the effort to making this space so enjoyable. Great music to dance to and a nice cold beer in hand, a simple tranquil life yet so fulfilling. Went there with a mate for lunch. Friendly service and nice place. Sat outside in the beer garden and had the crispy chicken rolls with chips that where delicious. Thanks
