At a whim, we decided to go to Valla beach tavern for a drink. It was a saturday and the bistro was closed, so we had cold drink. They had only my partner and I and two other lads having a beer and playing pool. We arrived around 1 pm on saturday. A quiet place with not much happening.

Booked a family dinner for my son's 18th.. family consisting of mum, dad , Nana , two aunties one partner of aunty and young five year old cousin, and two friends over the age of 18. Was told was not welcome to have dinner as they would not accommodate an 18th celebration. Trying to support local business. Very disappointing in a small community. Will not bother ever entering the premises again or spending any money to owners of a business that are so blatantly discriminative. It's a shame. Hope others have a better experience.

They might not have the $7 snitty anymore but you'll still get a great value for money meal at the Valla Beach Tav, and the chef tells me the meals are even better now and after having the pie last night I gotta agree with her.

Friendly staff member and reasonable price for great portion food ! The special dish king prawn stir fry in oyster sauce is amazing

Fantastic food, generous servings and friendly staff. The Mushroom Arancini is fantastic and the Rump steak is one of the best i have ever eaten. Can't wait to go back.
