The place looks great. Its super noisy and seems like a fun atmosphere. The drinks were not too expensive (though sloppily made) but served with a good attitude by the young staff. The food is too expensive for what it is. Lacklustre plating. We had the rib eye which was tasty, but served with the wrong sides (sloppy watery mash instead of undercooked under seasoned { not really baked } potatos which we were begrudgingly given after we went back to the counter) we also got the sweet potato fries which were lovely and the spicy chicken wings which were boring AND not spicy. I feel like I would go back here, maybe when they get more into the swing of what they are doing.

Just going through Wagga on a overnighter, decided on some pub grub for dinner. THE BEST SCOTCH FILLET I have had in ages! So, took wife back today for lunch. Highly recommended for the food.Typical pub atmosphere, a bit noisy at night, but worth it.

It's been years since I'd been to the Sporties and this visit was a pleasant surprise. Clean, good atmosphere, great service and a reasonably priced meal. You can't complain about that. I'm headed back for sure.

I used to be a local around this place and think it's one of the nicest places in Wagga for a casual meal and drink. Great menu, tables/seating and the outdoor area has lots of light with suitable shade options. Top notch.
