Robbie Burns Hotel reviews
5 Star Review by Andrew Hegedues
This would be the most unique, and homely pub/hotel I have stayed. An old pub converted to a beautiful and unique place to stay the night, and/or have a beer.
5 Star Review by Richard Moxham
Don't listen to other reviews lamenting that a pub that was once neglected and falling down now has a new lease of life! Yes, it's not a pub anymore, however the new owners have approached the restoration with care, and as they should have also put their own creative spin on the decor. The building is simply lovely, full of preserved history and decked in artworks painted by the owner. The while place feels very comfortable and welcoming. Lovely views, serviceable rooms, and great owners. Highly recommended if you're in the area and want to really relax.

Unique. Not trading for booze at the moment but a fascinating place to stay. Eclectic artistic interior. Nice old school rooms.

Having been a patron over many years at this incredible pub i was heart broken to arrive and find that a bunch of new age hippys have taken it over and turned this once mighty pub into a bloody yoghurt retreat FFS ! the community is reeling from the demise of the cultural heart ! once a place to meet and socialise , raise much needed funds for community projects and groups this is now the dead soul of the community . what kind of person buys a small pub and then shuts it ? This is truly heartbreaking .
